I naturally have fine, straight, limp hair and the frequent color changes don't help either ;) so I am always on the hunt for the latest hair miracle. I have tried just about every latest and greatest! And the frequent washing definitely doesn't help.
Last week I read on article about a lady who took a 30 day hair challenge (keep in mind that this woman has thick, curly hair and normally washes every other day) She loved it so much that 6 months later, she is still using it.
I feel like my situation really puts this challenge to the test (between my naturally fine thin hair and all the trauma I expose it to) If I get good results anyone can!
The challenge is to wash with baking soda/water (1 to 3 mixture) and apple cider vinager/water (1 to 3 mixture)
I am going to also cut out all of my "unnatural" hair care products....hair spray, gel, leave in conditioners, root lift....yes! I use all that!
I started the challenge on Dec. 19th, it has been 1 week and I really do notice a big difference. My hair feels thicker, fuller and very shiny! The first few days it was harder to comb through (without leave in) and was a little flat (without gel or hair spray) but after 4-5 days it's softer, fuller and looks less broken. 3 more weeks to go!
I'm pretty excited to go "all natural" but my Husband said "Just please don't start growing out the armpits" So I guess it's only "all Natural hair" for me!
