Our 1st day at The Worlds Jiu Jitu Championship was pretty amazing with my son Tyson winning 3 exciting matches! Tysons division had over 100 competitors and is one of the most stacked divisions in Jiu Jitsu, Tysons performance was definitely impressive! As always I'm very proud of him!
Andrew and I worked one of the tables ALL day, keeping score and coordinating brackets. This was really fun and gave us a front row seat but, it was VERY stressful and exausting, having the pressure of keeping the brackets in order (at some points I was alone running 3-4 bracket sheets at a time with some competitor's on a different mat while keeping score and watching time) we worked for 13 hours straight with no official breaks, I think we were a little delirious and our backs are extremely sore (and we are doing this all 4 days!)
On the bright side...today will be filled with female competitor's and some of my teammates! I'm excited to watch (as much as I can) and it is always a great learning experience just being there.
