This past weekend Emily Kwok, World Champion Black Belt, showed off the new "Just a Girl in a Jiu Jitsu World" leopard gi at the Women's Grappling Camp in Chicago!
The Just a Girl gi was raffled off with several other items during the 5 days of camp run by Emily Kwok, Hannette Staack and Valerie Worthington. 30 ladies from around North America, from Virginia, Massachusetts, Vermont, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, New York, Ontario, Alberta and...even Alaska! were able to train together. I wish I was a little closer to Chicago, this would have been a great event to attend.
I greatly appreciate Emily helping to make an awesome debut for my gi and in addition to showing it off, it was blessed with super powers from Emily, Hannette and Valerie! Thanks ladies! I'm hoping to get an opportunity to train with you all one day! You are all a huge INSPIRATION to me!!!
