Last year I attended Pan Ams Jiu Jitsu Tournament in California. "Attended" ...I did not compete. I thought about it but, couldn't commit. I was a fresh Blue Belt, I suffer from performance anxiety (a little more extreme then most) and had never even seen anything of this caliber. I did go out and support my team and my son. Just being there and thinking of competing the following year, gave me anxiety but, I made a commitment to myself at that time that I would do this at least once.
Last night I made that commitment official :) No backing out now!
