girls who sometimes compete as adults but, they are both under
18.
Meet Erin Harpe! Erin is a 19 year old Royce Gracie Blue Belt from Agawam, Mass.
I first came in contact with Erin when I was working as a score keeper at this years Worlds. She was awesome to watch! Destroying her opponents one after the other with this amazing confidence, it really showed that Erin has been raised on the mats.
Erin has been training under her father; Royce Gracie Brown Belt, James Harpe, since she was 5 years old. She is now training at Gracie Tampa under Royce Gracie Black
Belt, Rob Khan. Erin is working towards becoming a top, professional MMA fighter. Although she anticipates her cage fighting soon, Erin is still going to compete in the IBJJF tournaments.
-Accomplishments
Since Erin started competing in the IBJJF tournaments this year; her accomplishments have been:
• gold medalist at Boston Open and New York Open
• bronze medalist in the blue belt absolute division at New York Open
• Silver medalist at the 2013 IBJJF World Championship
• multiple time champion in the NAGA blue belt and expert division
Erin is always willing to help others on and off the mat. She not only loves mentoring her father's
kids program, but she is also pursuing her registered nurse degree. If you get a chance to watch Erin compete, DON'T miss it, She will not disappoint!
Can't wait to see her in the cage! We're very proud to have her represent Just a Girl.
