I've noticed lately that I've been a little rough in Jiu Jitsu class! I gave Andrew an elbow to the face, kicked Yesenya in the head, tried to rip Jesus's broken arm off and sat on several peoples heads...and that was just this week :/
I'm trying to consciously be smoother and a little less aggressive. I think this rough way of "rolling" comes from being smaller then most of my teammates and having to "fight" or move fast. I had also realized in the past that I was developing bad habits by being too nice in class (not using shoulder pressure or not pushing the face away) so I tried to work on that. I guess I need to find a happy medium. If you were a victim of my bullying, I apologize, I will work on being nicer :)
On a good note....in the past few months I've realized that I'm seeing lots of new things in Jiu Jitsu, I'm seeing things that have been in front of me all along, noticing little details in other peoples games that have really impacted MY game. Its awesome to see the challenges Jiu Jitsu has to offer both physically and mentally. Its always a good feeling to see growth and changes for the better in your Journey.
