UFC 20...Who's your pick?
The Hubby and I have been following The Ultimate Fighter since day one. It's one night of TV we usually don't miss out on. This season in particular has been one of my favorites, with an ALL female crew in what would be my weight class. This has been a fun season to watch with some awesome fights and great Jiu Jitsu.
Big congrats to one of my Lotus Club Affiliate teammates, Carla Esparza, who at this point has made the semi finals along with Rose Namajunas, my pick to take it all! This weeks episode that pit Rose up against Joanne Calderwood was one of the best so far, lots of action and sweet BJJ by Rose. While watching their match, my husband pointed out a mistake Rose was making in high diamond, preventing her to secure a submission while in this position. In what may have been the best fight of the season so far, Rose Namajunas pulled off the upset as she eliminated No. 2 ranked Joanne Calderwood with a second round kimura to stay alive in the tournament and move one step closer towards a shot at the UFC women's strawweight title. I would love to see Ronda Rousey cut down and take on one of these Jiu Jitsu girls #jiujitsugirls #bjjgirl #ufc
