Monday and Tuesday nights are usually my "no training" days. Usually it's family time with my boys, watch a movie, make dinner, play cards....
Last night however, because it's Fall Break my son was home all day so I decided I could add in another day of training.
I wasn't feeling great and my body was aching and bruised from the previous 5 days. As I was driving to the gym (with an ice pack on my neck and bathed in Icy/hot, I was thinking "this probably is a bad idea" ;) all I wanted to do was lay down on the mats and sleep! After about 15 mins of warm-ups I felt so much better, my soreness was gone and I had a great night of training and I actually feel better today then I did yesterday.
I'm not saying to "over-train" but, push yourself! And push through being sore and tired!
