you show up for family photos in your gi
you go for "double unders" when going in for a hug on Grandma
you forget your purse at home but, you definitely have your gym bag
your careful to not use too much lotion on your hands, you need those calluses
you have the Brazilian flag hanging somewhere in your house
your wardrobe consists of tournament shirts
you pull your child away from homework because you need to "look at something"
you try out a new back take on your dog (or he tries it on you!)
you cook dinner, take out the trash or even go out shopping in your gi
you call in sick because you found out your favorite training partner will be in morning class
you make sure to get your hooks in when spooning
you only wear waterproof make-up in case you don't have time to go home after work
you drive to class with an ice pack on your knee, elbow and neck
your husband tells his friend to choke you... and none of you find this odd
you may find tape, icy hot, hair ties, nail clippers and a sports bra randomly in your purse
you work a part-time job because training is more important then money
you get sweaty hands when watching your future opponent on youtube or checking your bracket
your boss stopped asking "what happened to your face?"
or "why are you limping?"
